Combination Tour Gabon-Príncipe

Come and see the beautiful animals and nature in Gabon and travel on to Príncipe where you stay in an old plantation; Roça Belo Monte in the most pristine nature you will ever see. 13 nights: 5 nights Loango, 4 nights Roça Belo Monte, 2 nights Libreville

Day 1
Arrival at Libreville airport after international flight. After customs and luggage collection our agent will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel for the night: Hotel Du Phare. You can eat dinner there or ask the local staff where to eat elsewhere. Overnight Hotel Du Phare.

Day 2
You will be picked up by our agent again who will take you to the Afrijet Private terminal for your flight from Libreville to Port Gentil within 30 minutes. Our agent in Port Gentil will meet you and make a short transfer to the departure point for the trip to Loango. Depending on the road condition, the trip from Port Gentil to Loango National Park will last 4-6 hours.

After arrival at Loango Lodge you enjoy a boat tour of the Estuary on the Iguela lagoon. After this special boat trip whereby you can see many bird species you will enjoy a few sundowners at the beach, dinner at lodge, overnight Loango Lodge.

Day 3
Depart Loango Lodge by boat to Yatouga Gorilla research camp, search for the gorillas and experience them in their natural habitat. After this great experience travel to Akaka Camp, overnight Akaka Camp.

Day 4
Depart Akaka for a hike to petit Loango, this 16 km hike will take about 3-4 hours to complete. The hike will take you to a great costal forest, wild beaches and small lagoons where hippos are living. Dinner and overnight in Petit Loango camp.

Day 5
Hike back to Akaka camp enjoying the beautiful scenery. After lunch some time to relax and in the late afternoon a boat excursion. Dinner and overnight in Akaka camp listening to the forest sounds of the bush.

Day 6
Travel by boat to Sitatunga Point to be picked up to go to Lourie Wilderness Camp. Enjoy the Lourie area with a safari vehicle and see it’s savanna, yet another remarkable part of the eco system in Loango NP.  Have a BBQ at the camp. Overnight Lourie Wilderness Camp

Day 7
Travel back to Loango Lodge and start your journey to Port Gentil for your flight back to Libreville. Flight Port Gentil to Libreville. Up on arrival after baggage collection our guide will be there for you to take you to your hotel: Hotel du Phare close to the airport. Overnight at du Phare.

Day 8
You will be picked up by our agent again who will take you to the Afrijet Private terminal for your flight from Libreville to São Tomé within 45 minutes. After arrival you need to go to your next flight from São Tomé to Príncipe where a transfer will take you to Roça Belo Monte. Check in and overnight at Roça Belo Monte.

Day 9
Day on and around Roça Belo Monte including excursion like cultural vehicle tour, hiking trails, scuba diving etc. Discuss with the hotel management what the best possibilities are. Overnight Roça Belo Monte.

Day 10
Day on and around Roça Belo Monte including excursion like cultural vehicle tour, hiking trails, scuba diving etc. Discuss with the hotel management what the best possibilities are. Overnight Roça Belo Monte.

Day 11
Day on and around Roça Belo Monte including excursion like cultural vehicle tour, hiking trails, scuba diving etc. Discuss with the hotel management what the best possibilities are. Overnight Roça Belo Monte.

Day 12
Check out in the morning and depending what time your flight is; you can still do a small hike or just enjoy the surroundings before taking your transportation to the airport. Take your flight from Príncipe to São Tomé and travel onwards to your international flight.
